Expressions

I've been doing a little teaching and last week did morph targets, so the previous afternoon I knocked these expressions up. Nothing too fancy just straight XSI models with a smooth over them, but I liked them so I thought I share.

Demon Dude

After a ridiculously enjoyable time travelling I find myself back into reality and suitably broke, unemployed and destitute. Perfect opportunity to get back into some art. I have been working on a side project with some friends but have still managed to find the time to get stuck into a bit of Zbrush as well.

There are things I would really like to change to this model and there are things i should have done better and will next time, but i can't mess with it forever and I'm hanging out to get into the texture. Unfortunately I won't be able to start that for a week because of this other project.

Skeletor

So the studio closed doors in Australia and i decided to go on holiday. Before i left i finally spent a week putting my head down and learning properly how to used Zbrush. This model was made purely as experimentation, but it came out ok and I did learn a massive amount.

Tree

I had a little taste of Zbrush for about a week at work but I didn't really learn any or it other then the basic UI and tools. Many months later i got another chance to use it..... This was my first Zbrush model. I was still on a strict deadline so it wasn't the best learning experience. The whole model finished, textured and in game took just over a working week.

First Face

This is another model done some time ago but as with the last post I thought it was beneficial to put in as it show some kind of progression. It's also another first, it's the first face sculpt i did. Again done in mudbox this is the final ingame normal mapped model.

First Character

This is the first character I've ever made using a sculpting package. This was done a good couple of years ago now using mudbox, xsi and of course photoshop. There was a lot of messing around with the changing of designs on this one and was never really finished as it was decided that the whole thing would be redesigned from scratch anyway.
